First thing that you think after you read this topic. What is it? Fukushima, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Yes, nuclear bomb in Japan.
Another things? No. Okay.
Now, I want to open your mind widely what is nuclear.
On 20 September 2013, our batch were going to Agensi Nuklear Malaysia located at Bangi about a half an hour from our campus in Pandan Indah, Ampang. 2 buses and 77 medical students with 2 lecturers and of course 2 bus drivers arrived there in 8.30 a.m.
These visit actually a replacement program for our English Getaway on that day.
Okay, then.
I continue with the contents of our visit.
Here, my friends excited listen for the lecture. We were given 2 lectures where the contents was about nuclear. What they had done to our country for the sake of our lives.
Especially in medical field, they made many researches on how to treat cancer, tumor or any dangerous diseases from nuclear so that Malaysian can improve their quality life.
That all about it.
Next session.
We were divided into 2 groups and to make it easy, we are separated according to which bus that we came. One group to SINAGAMA and another one was ALURTRON.
SINAGAMA group
Sinagama is gamma ray. To make it short, our things like foods, medical equipments must undergo Sinagama to remove the bacteria or viruses that can cause infection after we used it. Brief short from nuclear official about how Sinagama was conducted.
ALURTRON group
I don't know what Alurtron is because one group for one place.
Conclusion, Agensi Nuklear Malaysia is the suitable place for any visitor especially secondary students and graduate students from any school and any university to open their mind about nuclear and its advantages in our daily life.
